What is Intensive Physical Therapy?

Beginning Steps Therapy’s intensive physical therapy program is customized to fit the needs of each child.  Our program is a 3 week session based on the child’s needs consisting of 3 hours a day, 5 days per week, of intensive physical therapy in a one-on-one situation with a physical therapist trained in the TheraSuit Method™.

Treatment duration may vary pending the child’s needs and therapist recommendations.  Our therapists utilize the TheraSuit Method™ as a holistic approach to treatment of an individual with neurological disorders, developmental delays, traumatic brain injuries, autism, post stroke (CVA), ataxia, athetosis, hypertonia, hypotonia, dystonia, and other conditions which affect the child’s motor development.
